This four-week portraiture course offers a focused yet flexible introduction to drawing and painting the human face. Through a range of practical exercises, we’ll explore facial proportions, underlying bone structure, individual features, and techniques for mixing convincing skin tones, while looking at a diverse range of techniques and approaches. Suitable for beginners through to more experienced artists, the course encourages experimentation with different media and methods, helping you build confidence, observation skills, and a deeper understanding of portraiture.
